At Or Lacholeh, we are committed to minimizing administrative expenses so that the majority of your donations go directly to those who need them most.

In fact, many of our dedicated staff and volunteers use their own cars to deliver food, visit families, and go to hospitals, helping us keep costs as low as possible.

New U.S. Non-Profit, Established Foundation

Our 501(c)(3) was established in 2024, with our first Form 990 filing scheduled for December 2025. While our American operations are new, our Israeli partner organization has operated since 2016, maintaining comprehensive accounting records and proper regulatory filings.

Expanding Our Impact

Establishing our U.S. nonprofit enables us to reach more donors and significantly increase support for Israeli families facing serious illness. All donations directly fund essential services including food assistance and critical family support programs.

Recipient Conditions

To ensure donations are used responsibly and reach those in genuine need, families requesting assistance from Or Lacholeh must complete a detailed application form.

Each request is carefully reviewed by a committee that evaluates the family’s situation, needs, and supporting documentation. Only after this thorough process is support approved, ensuring help is provided fairly and meaningfully.
